The village is close to many of the Great Ocean Road’s famous natural wonders overlooking the Southern Ocean, including the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and the London Bridge. These beautiful rock formations are just a quick drive from town, and offer some of the best views of the coast in all of Victoria Australia.

This Lookout takes in the view of the, now island, London Bridge, also formerly known as London Arch. It was in the evening on the 15 January, 1990, that the main arch connect London Bridge to the mainland cracked and fell into the sea. Fortunately no-one was injured. Two people marooned on the new island were rescued hours later by helicopter. Head north on the M1 freeway for about 45 minutes before taking the exit for the B360. Follow this road for another 15 minutes until you reach Portsea. Once in Portsea, head towards the beach and look for the signs for London Bridge. The lookout is located just past the bridge, on the left-hand side. Parking is available on both sides of the road.
